KTH Sweden Scholarship Opening Soon – Get Ready!

Stockholm, Sweden – October 2024: The prestigious KTH Scholarship at KTH Royal Institute of Technology is set to open its application window for the 2025 batch of master’s students. The scholarship, which covers the full tuition fee for a one or two-year master’s program, is a golden opportunity for academically outstanding and sustainability-driven students from outside the EU/EEA region.

What the KTH Scholarship Offers

The KTH Scholarship covers the full tuition fees for eligible master’s programs at KTH, one of Europe’s leading technical universities. The scholarship does not, however, include living expenses, so students must plan accordingly for their stay in Stockholm.

How to Apply?

Students can apply for the KTH Scholarship directly on the KTH scholarship page once the application period opens. The process is streamlined:

  1. Apply for a master’s program at KTH and make it your first priority on universityadmissions.se.
  2. Access the scholarship application form via the “Apply now” button available from 1 December 2024 to 15 January 2025.
  3. Fill out the form; no additional documents are required as KTH will access your application documents through the university admissions platform.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the KTH Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be fee-paying students from outside the EU/EEA.
  • Apply for a master’s program at KTH as their first priority.
  • Ensure that they have paid the application fee required for their chosen program.

Programs Included: Most master’s programs are eligible except for certain joint programs such as Erasmus+ and EIT Digital. However, specific joint programs like Molecular Techniques in Life Science and Innovative Technology for Healthy Living (EIT Health) remain eligible.

Application Timeline

  • Opening Date: 1 December 2024
  • Closing Date: 15 January 2025 (midnight CET)

Prospective students are encouraged to mark these dates and prepare their applications well in advance, as the competition is fierce.
