Government of Mauritius Scholarships 2025 Announced

Port Louis, Mauritius – The Government of Mauritius is excited to announce the 2025 Mauritius Government Scholarship Program for students from across the African continent. This fully-funded scholarship provides residents of African Union or African Commonwealth member states with the incredible opportunity to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at public universities in Mauritius.

Known for its diverse culture and commitment to academic excellence, Mauritius offers a welcoming environment for international students. The scholarship program covers a wide range of disciplines, allowing students to pursue their passions in various fields.

This scholarship covers full tuition, provides a monthly stipend for living expenses, and includes return airfare from the student’s home country to Mauritius. Applicants must meet specific age requirements (between 18 and 25 for undergraduate programs, and under 40 for postgraduate programs by January 1, 2026) and have already applied for a full-time, on-campus program at a participating Mauritian public university.
