University of Waikato Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship 2025 Session
The University of Waikato is now accepting applications for its prestigious Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship. With up to NZD$15,000 available towards tuition fees, this scholarship offers international students an outstanding opportunity to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies in a wide range of disciplines.
Scholarship Overview
The scholarship is open to new international students who will undertake on-campus study at the University of Waikato. It is not available to students who choose to study online. Eligible study levels include Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Taught) programs, across subject areas such as Arts, Business/Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Education, Health, Engineering, Law, Māori & Indigenous Studies, Science, and Social Sciences.

- Apply via MyWaikato: Once enrolled, applicants can log in to the MyWaikato portal, navigate to the ‘Scholarships’ tab, and select the Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship from the available options.
The application deadline to submit your application for the University of Waikato Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship 2025 is 31 December 2025, leaving prospective candidates ample time—400 days—to prepare their submissions.
