ECUST Shanghai Scholarship Opportunities in 2025 Sept Batch

ECUST has unveiled an impressive lineup of scholarships for Chinese-taught and English-taught undergraduate programs:

1. Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS Type A):
   Apply through your home country’s international education authority and secure pre-admission at ECUST. This scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, and provides a living stipend.
2. Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS Class B):
   Apply directly via the SGS online portal for a chance to benefit from tuition and living expense support.
3. SGS 1+4 Program:
   Automatically considered during your application, this program offers financial assistance for an intensive preparatory year followed by a four-year undergraduate degree.
4. ECUST President Scholarship:
   Merit-based and integrated into your application process, this scholarship recognizes academic excellence and leadership potential.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Hold a valid foreign passport and a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Be over 16 years of age. Applicants under 18 must submit a Guarantee Statement.
• Meet language requirements:
  • Chinese-taught programs: HSK 5 (210+) or HSK 6 (180+).
  • English-taught programs: TOEFL 80+, IELTS 6.0+, or Duolingo 105+.
