ECUST Shanghai Scholarship Opportunities in 2025 Sept Batch
ECUST has unveiled an impressive lineup of scholarships for Chinese-taught and English-taught undergraduate programs:
- Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS Type A):
Apply through your home country’s international education authority and secure pre-admission at ECUST. This scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, and provides a living stipend. - Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS Class B):
Apply directly via the SGS online portal for a chance to benefit from tuition and living expense support. - SGS 1+4 Program:
Automatically considered during your application, this program offers financial assistance for an intensive preparatory year followed by a four-year undergraduate degree. - ECUST President Scholarship:

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Hold a valid foreign passport and a high school diploma (or equivalent).
- Be over 16 years of age. Applicants under 18 must submit a Guarantee Statement.
- Meet language requirements:
- Chinese-taught programs: HSK 5 (210+) or HSK 6 (180+).
- English-taught programs: TOEFL 80+, IELTS 6.0+, or Duolingo 105+.
