Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

1. Be a citizen of an EU country and in good health (both mentally and physically).
2. Meet the academic qualifications:
   • Undergraduate applicants: High school graduate, under 25 years old.
   • Master’s applicants: Bachelor’s degree holder, under 35 years old.
   • Doctoral applicants: Master’s degree holder, under 40 years old.
   • General scholars: High school graduate, under 45 years old.
   • Senior scholars: Master’s degree holder or associate professor, under 50 years old.
3. Demonstrate Chinese language proficiency:
   • HSK Level 3 for Chinese-taught undergraduate/general scholar programs.
   • HSK Level 4 for Chinese-taught master’s/doctoral programs.
   • No HSK requirement for English-taught programs or Chinese language studies.
