Northwestern Polytechnical University CSC Scholarship 2025

The China Scholarship Council is inviting applications for the Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program, specifically the “Belt and Road” Master’s Program in Software Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU). This program aims to train professionals with expertise in e-commerce, big data, and cross-border commerce, supporting the Belt and Road Initiative.

The program, conducted in English, spans two years. The first year involves coursework and research at NPU, while the second year is dedicated to dissertation completion in the participants’ home countries, culminating in a final defense in China. Successful candidates will earn a Master’s degree, with full scholarship coverage provided.

Eligible applicants must be non-Chinese citizens under 40, hold a bachelor’s degree with at least three years of relevant work experience, and demonstrate English proficiency. Preference is given to applicants with related academic or professional backgrounds. Candidates should fall into one of the following categories: government employees at the director level, senior institutional or enterprise managers, university or research administrators, or those with international organization experience.

Required documents include a passport copy, degree certificate, academic transcripts, employment certificate, recommendation letters, study plan, and a recent physical examination certificate. All materials must be submitted in English or Chinese.

Applications must be completed online through the NPU application system by March 15, 2025, followed by submission to the CSC system by March 25, 2025. NPU will conduct material reviews and interviews, issuing pre-admission notices to selected candidates for the CSC review process. Admission results will be announced in June 2025, with the program commencing in September 2025.
