Agricultural Scholarship Opportunity in Hong Kong for Foreign Students in 2025
The Agricultural Products Scholarship Fund and the Marine Fish Scholarship Fund are now accepting applications for their Senior Secondary Education Awards 2025, designed to financially support students in Hong Kong who are connected to the local agricultural and fisheries industries.
About the Scholarship Funds
Established in 1978, these two scholarship funds aim to promote education and training for individuals who:
- Are employed in Hong Kong’s agriculture, agricultural product marketing, marine fisheries, or fish marketing sectors, or
- Wish to enter these industries in the future.
These funds not only recognize students’ academic potential but also support families whose livelihoods are tied to the agriculture and fisheries sectors in Hong Kong.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be students currently enrolled in Secondary 4 to Secondary 6 at a full-time secondary school in Hong Kong.
- Hold the right of abode in Hong Kong, or have resided legally and continuously in Hong Kong for at least three years prior to the start of their course.
- Have a family background directly involved in the agriculture, agricultural product marketing, marine fisheries, or marine fish marketing sectors within Hong Kong.

- Reception Counter, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) Headquarters, 5/F, Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Kowloon
- Agricultural Extension Office of the AFCD
- General Office of the Vegetable Marketing Organization
- Fisheries Liaison Offices at wholesale fish markets or fish depots under the Fish Marketing Organization
