Ireland Government Scholarships 2025 for International Students

The prestigious Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) program is now accepting applications for the 2025 academic year! This highly sought-after scholarship supports high-calibre international students pursuing master’s, postgraduate diplomas, or PhDs (NFQ levels 9 or 10) at Irish higher education institutions (HEIs).

What’s on Offer?

• A €10,000 stipend for one year of full-time study.
• A full fee waiver for the year from the host institution.
• The opportunity to begin studies in September or October 2025.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

• Be domiciled outside the EU/EEA, Switzerland, and the UK.
• Have a conditional or final offer of admission to an eligible program in Ireland.
• Show outstanding academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and a strong rationale for studying in Ireland.

Note: Previous GOI-IES recipients and nationals of Russia and Belarus are not eligible.

2. Submit your application via the online portal before the deadline:
   5 PM (Irish time), 05 March 2025.
3. Include two (2) references in your application.
