Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarships 2026 Announcement
International students aiming for a career in arts and cultural management now have an exciting funding opportunity confirmed. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has officially announced 7 scholarships for the Global Master in Performing Arts Management (Global MPAM) program, jointly offered by Accademia Teatro alla Scala and Politecnico di Milano School of Management.
Scholarship Details
The MAECI scholarships are exclusively available to international students already enrolled in the Global MPAM program for the 2025/26 academic year. Each selected student will receive:
- Monthly grant: €1,000
- Duration: January 2026 – June 2026 (six months)
- Total amount: €6,000
Only 7 international students will be awarded under this highly competitive scheme.
How to Apply?
The application involves two key steps:

Enroll in Global MPAM: Submit your application for the Global Master in Performing Arts Management through apply.gsom.polimi.it, pass the selection process, and confirm your enrollment.

Request the Scholarship By October 1, 2025, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: “Global MPAM Scholarship MAECI”

- Attach a PDF document in English (max 350 words) explaining why you chose to study in Italy and attend the Master’s program at Accademia Teatro alla Scala.
- This motivational note is an additional requirement, separate from the Global MPAM admission documents.
Selection & Notification
A committee will review all applications. The final list of scholarship recipients will be confirmed via email by early November 2025, just before the program officially begins.
Important Note
By applying and accepting the scholarship, candidates agree to all the conditions outlined by MAECI. Failure to confirm enrollment and acceptance by the given deadline will be treated as a withdrawal, and the scholarship will be reassigned to another candidate.
