The University of Trieste has announced applications for the prestigious “Maria Lucia Malagnini” Scholarships for the academic year 2025/2026. These awards are designed to support talented students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, with a focus on recognizing academic merit and dedication.

Scholarship Details

Two scholarships, each valued at €2,500, will be granted this year. The awards are distributed as follows:

  • One scholarship for a student entering the second year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Physics.
  • One scholarship for a student entering the third year of the same program.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Be enrolled for the first time in either the second or third year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Physics at the University of Trieste for the 2025/2026 academic year.
  • For second-year applicants: At least 40 ECTS must be earned by 30 September 2025, with a weighted grade point average of 25/30 or higher.
  • For third-year applicants: At least 100 ECTS must be earned by 30 September 2025, also with a weighted grade point average of 25/30 or higher.
