Application Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: Be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport.
  • Academic Qualifications:
    • For master’s programs: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
    • For PhD programs: A master’s degree or equivalent.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 5 (minimum score 210).
    • English-taught programs: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 85, or equivalent certification.

Application Timeline

  • Scholarship Application Deadline: November 25, 2024 – February 15, 2025
  • First Scholarship Interview: December 15–20, 2024
  • Admission Results: June 1–15, 2025

Students applying for self-funded programs can submit their applications until May 15, 2025.
