The Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) Scholarship is an esteemed initiative by the Indonesian Government to support students from developing countries in pursuing Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degrees at leading universities in Indonesia. Eligibility Criteria:
- For Bachelor’s Degree Applicants:
Maximum age: 21 years (as of December 31, 2025).
High school diploma holder (Bachelor degree holders are NOT eligible)
Minimum English proficiency score: TOEFL ITP 477, TOEFL IBT 53, IELTS 5.5, or TOEIC 510 (obtained within the last 2 years).
Valid passport (expiry date at least until December 31, 2026).
Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General.
Academic recommendation letter from the previous institution.
2. For Master’s Degree Applicants:
Maximum age: 35 years.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum English proficiency score: TOEFL ITP 500, TOEFL IBT 61, IELTS 6.0, or TOEIC 575 (obtained within the last 2 years).
Valid passport (expiry date at least until December 31, 2026).
Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General.
Academic recommendation letter from the previous institution.
23. For Doctoral Degree Applicants:
Maximum age: 40 years.
Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum English proficiency score: TOEFL ITP 530, TOEFL IBT 70, IELTS 6.5, or TOEIC 600 (obtained within the last 2 years).
Recommendation letter from a potential research supervisor at a KNB partner university.
Statement of purpose in English or Bahasa.
