SWUFE China Government Scholarships 2025
The Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is inviting applications for the Chinese Government Scholarship (Category B) for the 2025 academic year. This fully funded SWUFE-CSC Scholarship provides international students with the opportunity to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees in China, fostering academic growth and cultural exchange.
The scholarship includes full tuition fee coverage, free on-campus accommodation, a monthly living allowance (3,000 RMB for master’s students and 3,500 RMB for doctoral candidates), and comprehensive medical insurance. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, holding a bachelor’s degree for master’s programs or a master’s degree for doctoral programs, with graduation expected by August 2025. Age limits are under 35 for master’s and under 40 for doctoral applicants.
Language proficiency requirements include HSK Level 5 or 4 (with a preparatory course) for Chinese-taught programs and IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80+ for English-taught programs. Native English speakers or candidates with a two-year degree taught in English are exempt.
The application process involves two steps: completing the CSC application on the official platform (using SWUFE’s Agency Number: 10651) and submitting an online application through SWUFE’s portal. A 600 RMB non-refundable application fee applies, and candidates must provide all required documents, including transcripts, recommendation letters, a study plan, language certificates, and a valid passport.
