Transformative Summer Leadership Programs 2025

Exciting opportunities await teenagers interested in developing their leadership skills and making a positive impact on the world. Applications are officially open for two unique programs: Camp Rising Sun, a full-scholarship 2025 summer camp in Upstate New York, and The Ethical Leadership Experience (TELE), a virtual program connecting students internationally.

Camp Rising Sun (CRS) offers a four-week immersive experience where participants cultivate compassionate leadership, learn from diverse perspectives, and build a strong sense of community. The program runs two sessions, one in July and one in August 2025.

The Ethical Leadership Experience (TELE) brings together a small cohort of students from around the globe to engage in discussions and collaborative projects focused on leadership, identity, justice, and social action. This highly interactive online program fosters critical thinking, cross-cultural understanding, and lasting friendships. TELE offers 2-week sessions in July and August, 2025.

How to Apply?

Interested students can apply for both programs through the Louis August Jonas Foundation (LAJF) website.

The deadline for TELE applications is March 1, 2025, with admissions decisions made on a rolling basis. Applicants must be between 15 and 18 years old and able to speak English. The program fee is $350, but generous scholarships are available to ensure that all selected candidates can participate.
